Roles

  1. Data Extractor: collects and organises the red list data from the designated sources, either manually or using the automated tool.
  2. NRL Data Harmoniser: standardises the data from the National Red List (NRL) and adapts it to the RegRed structure.
  3. Spatial Data Generator: validates the spatial information from the extracted data and obtains the geometries associated with the red list locations.
  4. Taxonomy Harmoniser: verifies the taxonomy and reconciles the scientific names in the extracted data from a red list to match a taxonomic backbone.

Team meetings

We will hold weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 10:30 (room D233) to assess progress, report issues and assign new tasks. To make this meetings more productive, team members should write their questions in RegRed’s meeting notes in advance.
